The AVID Curriculum is based on the acronym WICOR

A diagram outlining key skills for effective learning, including reading, writing, inquiry, organization, and collaboration.

Each year in the AVID elective, students work on all WICOR skills with the goal of refining and advancing their ability to practice these skills independently as they mature.
