How Do I Join AVID?

Are you a motivated student? 

Do you have ambitions of attending college but don't know how to get there? 

Do you want to get to know other people with the same goals? 

Then AVID could be for you! 

 

Participation in AVID is 100% voluntary (we want those who have individual determination!!!!). Recruitment for AVID occurs during the 3rd marking period of each school year. If you are interested, download the files on the right to get started!

 

Timeline: 

  • Early April: Applications due to guidance counselors
  • Early May: Student interviews
  • Late May: Acceptance / Rejection letters sent out
  • Late August: Summer field trip for incoming AVID 8 Students and orientation for all new AVID students
