About Me: My name is Jody Sargent and I will be your student's Business Teacher. This is my 25th year teaching at Medina. I have lived in Medina the majority of my life and graduated from Medina High School in 1989. I am a graduate of the University of Buffalo and received my Masters Degree from Buffalo State College.

My mission as a teacher in the Medina High School Business Department is to prepare students for the "real world." Through a wide variety of courses, I provide students with the skills necessary to function in their future personal and professional lives. The current courses I teach are relevant and current to the advances taking place in our ever-changing world and marketplace. Currently, for the 2022-2023 School Year, I am teaching the following courses:

1) Personal and Business Law (Full Year)

2) Keyboarding (1/2 Year)

3) Personal Finance (1/2 Year)

4) Digital Literacy (Full Year on a Day 1,2 and 3,4 rotating schedule)

Personally, I live in Medina with my wife and son who attends 8th Grade at JR/SR High School.
